Atomium

On the opening day of the Skills Summit, Wednesday 21st February, we cordially invite all ministers and heads of delegations to a dinner at the Atomium. Transportation from the hotels to the Atomium will be organised by Belgium.

The Atomium is an iconic landmark in Brussels and symbolises scientific progress and modernity. Originally built for Expo 58 (Brussels World’s Fair) this unique structure consists of nine silver spheres forming an iron crystal. Back then, it was a subtle reference to Belgium’s nine provinces. From the upper sphere you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the city. The Atomium remains an iconic element of the Brussels skyline and a tribute to innovation.

For construction reasons, the entire Atomium is not accessible to wheelchair users and to people with reduced mobility. If you have any questions regarding accessibility, please reach out to info@skillssummitbelgium.be

Please confirm your attendance at the Skills Summit 2024 by completing the form (even if you’ve already confirmed your presence by mail).
