The Technobel Center is a key player in digital training. Dedicated to professional development, it stands out with targeted missions. Primarily, it supports job seekers with specific training, enhancing their employability. Companies benefit from customized programs, strengthening their teams' skills. Teachers are supported with cutting-edge training, updated to technological advancements. Lastly, the Technobel Center prepares the youth for digital challenges with innovative, playful, and cooperative teaching methods, using state-of-the-art equipment for an immersive and technologically advanced learning experience.

The Technocité Competence Centre, based in Hainaut, focuses on training and digital inclusion. It welcomes more than 6000 participants annually (including jobseekers, teachers, students, employees, companies) at 4 sites (Mons, Hornu, Charleroi, Tournai). Specializing in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) such as UX design, system administration, web design, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, as well as in Cultural and Creative Industries Technologies (CCI) such as video games, special effects, animation and immersive technologies (eXtended Reality), our programs offer a comprehensive immersion, opening doors to learners for new careers in the tech industry.

What are the European funds doing in Flanders?

It is not always visible and clear where European funding goes. That's why we like to bring some projects into focus. From projects that help children reduce pain and anxiety during a needle stick experience, to building a safe cycling network. From supporting small organic farms to providing a safe working environment for fishermen.

Partners

Forem is the public employment and vocational training service in Wallonia. It supports jobseekers so that they can enter the labour market quickly. To help them, Forem offers 360 training courses in 50 training and skills centres. These facilities are also available to students and teachers.
Forem also supports companies by offering them a range of services, such as the dissemination of job vacancies, job days, assistance and tailor-made training courses to help them take on new employees or upskill their current workforce.

The Socio-Professional Integration Centers (Centres d'Insertion Socioprofessionnelle, CISP) provide training to mainly vulnerable, low-skilled jobseekers.

The CISP's use a specific pedagogy to allow participants to acquire general and technical skills while receiving psychosocial support.

The training programs organized by the CISP's cover various domains, including vocational orientation, basic computer skills, literacy, refreshment, personal development, construction, hospitality, green jobs, personal services, secretarial work, and commerce.
